On Sunday 29 November, Archie (Lower Fourth) performed at the Young Chorister of the Year Boys Semi-Final on BBC1, a joint competition between Songs of Praise and Radio 2. Archie, one of the many talented young choristers at MCS, beat hundreds of hopefuls to make it to the Semi-Finals, held at Gorton Monastery in Manchester.
Hosted by Aled Jones, Archie impressed the judges – Â John Rutter, Laura Wright and Carl Jackson – with a rousing performance of Pie Jesu which was highly praised by all three.
