New school transport initiative

MCS is delighted to announce the Oxford Schools Bus Partnership, a joint collaboration between five Oxford schools, d'Overbroeck's, Headington School, MCS, Oxford High School and Rye St Antony School, formed to provide safe, efficient and reliable routes to school for our pupils.

MCS has been working with the schools for the last 2.5 years to address the challenges faced by parents when transporting children to school in Oxford. Together the schools formed a company to enable the partnership to work together to achieve the best transport solution for parents in terms of high standards of safety for the children on board, reliability of service and financial stability. The Oxford Schools Bus Partnership (OSBP) is the joint company created to run this service.

This collaborative approach demonstrates the school's commitment to the families of our students, many of whom travel a long distance to reach school each day. As a group, the schools have always been determined to develop greener transportation options to enable more students to travel on buses than in individual cars.

Email the Transport Coordinator on info@osbp.net to book a seat. Booking is open from Monday 15th May 2017 and there will be a dedicated website www.osbp.net live soon. For the moment, you can view the school bus map and details of routes and timetables.
