Wilkinson-Blagden House Trips 2010

The Lower Fourth set out on a cold and wet Sunday morning for a long journey to the South Coast of Wales to surf at Porthcawl. As we got closer the sun came out and when finally we caught our first glimpse of the coast we were rewarded with fantastic surfing conditions - three foot and clean!  Everyone managed to stand up (some for longer than others) by the end of the session and all had had a brilliant time. It was great to hear the boys talking excitedly about the experience all the way home and very rewarding to see how well the new intake had settled in with the MCS boys.

The second form trip was a heady day of culture - Burger King followed by bowling at the Kassam Stadium! The burgers and chips were wolfed down and provided the new boys with plenty of energy to face up to the noise, flashing lights and excitement of Bowlplex. The quality of the bowling was varied but the fun was constant! There was a fantastic atmosphere amongst the boys and this bodes well for a successful year ahead!
