Students in charge!

Students in the Junior School experienced a very different day in school last week, as pupils Thomas Edmiston and Archie Licudi took over as Head and Deputy Head for the day. The pair, interviewed and appointed to the 24 hour post by the boys' School Council, spent the day teaching and leading meetings with staff and pupils.

Mr Edmiston decided that Ornithology would be a welcome new subject for his day in charge, inviting a team from the Cotswold Falconry to the school. The boys enjoyed a thrilling flying display from the birds on the school field, before being allowed to meet Joe the Barn Owl and Henry the Harris Hawk up close. The day was capped off by a special school assembly to celebrate National Chocolate Week.

Former Junior School Head Mr Coatsworth did not have such an enjoyable day, however - he received a conduct slip for sitting on the staff tables at lunch time!
