Festival Concert 2011

The Festival kicked off with a wonderful concert in The University Church. The event gave a chance for some of our pupils to work with professional musicians. David Juritz formed a quartet who performed Dvorak's Piano Quintet with pianists Nick Tollemache and Andrew Warwick.

The concert also featured Gurney's The Western Playland with soloists Charlie Littlewood and Henry Anderson Elliott. A massed string orchestra of over 70 pupils performed Sibelius' Andante Festivo and the concert ended with a superb rendition of Rutter's Birthday Madrigals by The Oxford Sixth.
