    On Thursday 25th June Labour politician Tony Benn came to MCS to talk about his life in politics.

    The MCS Schools Challenge team won their inter-regional match and progress to the national finals.

    The whole 3rd form spent a busy morning experiencing some of the key elements of classical drama.

  • National Schools Regatta 2009 31/05/2009
    MCS Captain of Boats, Simon Steele and his rowing partner have become the first crew to win both the Championship Double Sculls and the Championship Pairs at the National Schools Regatta for twenty years.
  • D of E expedition 29/05/2009
    On the 23rd and 24th of May 37 boys went to the Cotswolds for their Bronze Duke of Edinbugh's award expedition.
  • Art Exhibition 22/05/2009
    The new building housed its first ever art exhibition last Friday.

  • 2nd form K'nex Workshop 29/04/2009
    On Tuesday 28th April the whole second form took part in a K'nex workshop, run by The Oxford Trust.

    At the end of Hilary, an original 5th form production, Big Mac, was staged to great success in the Jacqueline du Pré building.
  • Rugby Sevens 26/03/2009
    MCS boys got their rugby studs back on and headed down to Rosslyn Park this week for the Senior National Rugby Sevens Festival.
  • U14 Hockey vs Abingdon 25/03/2009
    The U14A finished off there fantastic season on Sat the 21 March with a 1-0 victory against Abingdon School at Iffley Rd.

    Our annual Cairngorms expedition took place in the February half term, and conditions were excellent for training in the high corries.

    James Bennington and James Charleston selected to run for county cross-country team

    Upper Sixth Geographers headed off to North Wales during half term to undertake individual field work research.
