This whole school event, staged in basking sunshine at the famous Iffley Road track, was enjoyed by parents, staff and pupils. All pupils in the Second, Third, Lower Fourth, Upper Fourth and Fifth Form had the chance to contribute to the House Standards trophy, which was won by Wilkinson House.

The main event saw an increased number of boys take part. A new school record was set by Freddy Campbell in the junior hurdles, whilst Chavasse House equalled the 1985 Senior 4 x 100 relay record with a time of 48.2 seconds.

All 1st, 2nd & 3rd place competitors received certificates.

Major Sports day Awards

• The Mile Cup:  James Benington - The winner of the Senior 1500m.
  
• The PA Challenge Trophy:  Chavasse & Walker House - The House gaining the most points in the Relays.
  
• The Paiba Cup: Wilkinson House.
     
• The Under 12 VL:  Theo Evans-Stanley- To the individual gaining most points in the U12 Events.
  
• The Swann Trophy:  Toby Burrows - To the individual gaining the most points in the Junior Events.
  
• The Powell Cup:    Charlie Pullin, Dominic Kam- To the individual gaining the most points in the Intermediate Events.
  
• The Ladies Plate:   Sam Hewes - To the individual gaining the most points in the Senior Events.
                                                   
• The Willey Cup:  Chavasse House - The overall winners of Sports day (1st Ch; 2nd Ca; 3rd Wa; 4th Le; 5th Wi; 6th Ma)
                                
• The Olympian Medal:  Johnny Attwood (400m 1st place and outstanding 400 m relay) - To the most outstanding individual performance in an event on the day.
