Sheldonian Concert - March 2010

A packed house enjoyed this year’s Choral and Orchestral concert at the Sheldonian Theatre. The concert involved over 300 performers and featured exciting performances of Altenburg’s Concerto for Seven trumpets and Timpani, Tormis’ Overture no.2, Cunningham’s Saga of the Seven Days, Elgar’s Serenade for Strings and culminating in Purcell’s wonderful Ode on St Cecilia’s day featuring a vast choir representing all members of the school community.
