Having been designing webpages for several years, it was Harley who really came up with the layout for this page. Also, the idea for the maps being the vocal point for the site was his too. During the project, he took on the massive job of making all the maps, and also providing the site with alot of the CSS that makes the layout advanced, but also keeping it quite tidy. His other works include his own site, hturan.com, and also the Oxford Community School Parents Association website.

Alex Walmsley did much of the HTML for the original version, on which this final version is based. Having also previous experience with photography, he took many of the pictures and photoshopped them to give them the nicely rounded corners and generally sharpen them up. In the project, he was a general HTML and CSS technician, as well as writing the text for the pages. His other works include the Wadham College Chapel website and his own upcoming website.

Probably the biggest problem with creating this website was making it work on different browsers. With both of us using Apple computers, we only really had access to Safari and Mozilla Firefox, and so went to great lengths making it work on those two browsers. Other problems that we faced were simple ones such as CSS programming not working, HTML coding wrong, and so on. Having switched text edit programmes many times over the 3 months or so creating this site, we had some problems with links working.

Overall, we hope this site will be very useful to parents or boys trying to find their way around the school, or to those who would just like to find out more about it. Including testing for bugs and other things, we spent a combined time of about 60 hours in creation of this website. We hope that the gold version will be along soon with a search engine, maps and photos of the entire school, and also a links page. Thankyou and enjoy.
