16+ Awards

Academic Scholarships are awarded on the basis of the school's standard admissions procedure for Sixth Form applicants. They are conditional on GCSE performance.

All-Rounder Awards, Governors' Presentation Awards and Art, Music and Sport Awards operate exactly as outlined in the 13+ page, save that in Music, awards are sub-divided into Choral, Instrumental and Organ Scholarships. For Instrumental and Organ awards, candidates should generally be of a standard approaching or exceeding Grade VIII.

Ogden Trust Sixth Form Science Scholarships are additionally available. These are means-tested awards, financed by the Ogden Trust and available to applicants from state schools who are intending to read for a science-related degree at University. Details are available separately through the Registrar. The awards are made by the Ogden Trust rather than by the school.
