The Usher
James Hodgson read Classics at Durham University. After a couple of years working for Ernst and Young in London, he took a PGCE at Cambridge before taking up his first teaching post at Trinity Grammar School in Australia where he became a Day Housemaster and Master-in-charge of Football. He then spent 11 years at Tonbridge School in Kent as a Boarding Housemaster, Master-in-charge of cricket, and finally Director of Admissions. In his youth, he played cricket for England Universities, Surrey 2nd XI and Cambridge University (Blue) and this remains a passion. He is married with four children. |
